Entrance to The Park Lake Presbyterian Child Care Center School Building

Our Story

In 1925 Park Lake Presbyterian Church received its charter. The sanctuary was completed in 1926 and the school building followed in 1951.                                                                                                                                 Our childcare center occupies the school building which was built in 1951 and sits next to Park Lake, We have two playgrounds which provide separate play areas for younger and older children. Being next to the lake provides teachable moments as well as amazing views. There are six classrooms starting with infants and ending with VPK.  A delicious, nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are served.                            We believe in teaching your child with tender, loving care and we work to encourage their natural desire to learn through experimentation and observation. We strive to offer opportunities in multiple domains.            We are an extended family at Park Lake Presbyterian Child Care Center. and some of our teachers have been here long enough to share in the joy of seeing little ones grown.  Many of our graduates have kept in touch with their teachers and shared news of graduations, military service, weddings, and the births of their own children with some of our alumni making Park Lake the childcare center of choice for their children. Some things have changed over time of course but not our desire to create wonderful memories in a positive learning environment.
