The Biblical definition of love is sacrificial, a love that gives first and expects nothing in return. Biblical love grants believers a peace that surpasses all understanding, which comes only from Christ.

In the Bible, Jesus tells us how to love God: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind …and love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:37, 39)
